WENDELL: The reason I contacted Williamson & Lavecchia was I went to a hospital with what I thought was probably appendicitis, and to make a long story short, after four days of waiting for them to decide what to do, my bowels had burst. I don't remember anything for a month. I was sent to another hospital, where I spent many months recovering, in fact, a year and a half recovering. I had to wear a colostomy bag, be on wound vac, round the clock nursing for a time. And after about a year and a half, or so, I decided this was more, way more, than I should have to take. So I contacted several law firms, and didn't even get to really speak with a lawyer. They always just told the statue of limitations was too close for them to take the case.
Then I was given Williamson & Lavecchia. They took the case, and the case went to court approximately a year and a half later, three-day trial. It was a very favorable outcome for me. The whole process was very easy with them. I didn't have any problems with the law firm. They were giving me plenty of time, plenty of head's up. Mr. Petty did a very professional job, and I think he's the reason that I probably won my case.
If I had any other problems, or if I had a family or friend that had problems in medical malpractice, I would definitely give Williamson & Lavecchia the first call.
